FAQ
- Which Garmin models work with SKYNA Pulse?
- Every Garmin watch or cycling computer that syncs to Garmin Connect, Fenix, Forerunner, Venu, Epix, Vivosmart, Vivoactive, Instinct, Tactix, MARQ, Edge cyclometers, and legacy models from Fenix 5 / Forerunner 245 onward. If it shows in your Garmin Connect app, SKYNA can read it.
- How does SKYNA receive Garmin data?
- Through Garmin Connect's official API. Your watch syncs to Garmin Connect normally; SKYNA reads from there with your permission. We never replace Garmin Connect, we sit alongside it.
- Why does my older watch show fewer metrics than newer ones?
- Garmin enables newer features (Body Battery, Sleep Score, HRV Status) on newer hardware first. SKYNA shows whatever metrics your specific model computes, same as the Garmin Connect app itself.
- Will SKYNA blend my Garmin Body Battery with my Oura Readiness?
- Never. Each device's algorithm stays intact. Body Battery is Garmin's reasoning; Readiness is Oura's. SKYNA shows both with their own labels so you read the differences yourself.
- Do I need to keep Garmin Connect installed?
- Yes, Garmin Connect is how your watch gets data to Garmin's cloud. SKYNA reads from there. Don't uninstall it.
- What if I have multiple Garmin devices (a watch + a cycling computer)?
- All data from all your Garmin devices flows into the same SKYNA timeline. Your Edge ride data joins your Fenix daily metrics under the same Garmin chip.
